I tried to copy NBA Street the regular way (Using only DVD Decrypter) and it wouldn't get past the loading screen. after Rebuilding it worked great. The first copies I made probably would have worked with most mod chips but I have Swap Magic 3.3 so I need a smaller TOC. I beleive the newer version of swap Magic will boot the higher TOC Discs (DVD-5)

I can't get cddvdgen1.5 to work with my windows xp. It gives me a message saying its 16 bit and XP cant run it or something and then closes. It runs on my other computer with XPjust fine, but not the one with the file already on it. Please help!!!!!

i have tried DVD decryptor to make my image but i get an error about 85% of the way where i can either click "retry,ignore," and somthing else which i forget now. no matter what i try i cant get get past the bad sector.
can you help me please guys?

Hi all
I've read this thread for ages and the process is problematic.
1)create bin files - How ? How do you combine bin files ? What do they look like?
2)You back up the original game to an iso file using decrypter then you extract (with isobuster) this newly created file to the same folder ?
3)The dos process - any further descriptions/images .
This tutorial needs pictures badly!!!
Thid tutorial is frustrating - please help

Hi hursty
I'm testing out your method on Turok Evolution.
My usual methos id decryter read and write but this i sall new to me.
Creating bin files, Dos ?
A headache - help
Any pictures tp gpo with this tutorial ?

ignor dos,and ignor creating bin files,as you will get confused.hehe
click on the links i posted,it makes thimgs a little easier
and btw,i am not aware that turok needs rebuilding
only rebuild when nessecary

Hi hursty
I backed up Turok Evolution using Decrypter (Pal) and it doesn't work.
I have a modded PS2 (Messiah 2) so i thought i'd try this method.

Would you care to create that tutorial with some diagrams -newbies don't stand a chance

i have a modded ps2 with messiah 2,and you should never have to rebuild a game,only when its a DVD-9,
and this game is just 2 gb in size,
so something else is wrong....
media,burn speed,laser etc

Hi Hursty
I don't know whats wrong but the game doesn't load at all.
It is a PAL version and alot of games these days are just not working after being decrypted. I've only encountered a few problems with some games and this is one of them.
Game is UK Pal
Media (Ritek GO4)
Laser - clean
Burn at 2x and tried 1x
Had similar problems with Star wars "Revenge of the sith" and The punisher.
Disk must have additional files.
Tested decrypter and backed up other games just fine.
Chip still boots all other back ups
I give up on this game

i never burn at x 2,
i always burn at x 4
media is good,but if you have others to try i would give it a go.
btw,the game sucks fish,so i wouldnt to many dvd's on it

hey i have a quick question, can you still patch the dnas id so u can play online with rebuilt games like NBA street V3 or will it notice something wrong with the TOC
If you can play online do you patch the end file the same way as you would have to do without a rebuilt game

I have CDVDGEN 1.5. i have downloaded the necessary file you mentioned and have put it in the system 32 folder. i am trying to rebuild Mercianries PAL version. i have followed the previous tutorial and got up to the point where you press record on CDVDGEN. after i've chosen a file to save to instead of coming up with the two normal errors it come up with one which reads "Execute error: CD/DVD ROM Recording Unit Controller". do you know how to get to the next step of the tutorial because after reading every single post on this thread there hasn't been an answer for me.
PLS HELP!!

If your talking about the WNASPI32.DLL file i've got that in my system 32 folder already. if not then please explain what you mean.

check your system32 folder for the autoexec.nt file,it may be missing
go to my comp>windows>repair folder....look for autoexec.nt
copy and paste it into system32 folder,also located in my comp>windows>system32

i know this is strange but when i went into the windows foolder like you said the system32 folder wsn't there and now i can't find it anywhere. it was there before!
