I just backup my first dvd! How exciting!

The first one to come out of the cupboard was 'i-Robot'.

The actual movie looks fine, it is just the beginning of the disc when it loads and it shows some ads and that piracy warning, which is all distorted and fuzzy and blotchy.

All i did was a full backup using shrink to compress then burnt using decrypter? Is this an indication that i compressed it too much?

Can someone shed some light before i continuing backing up the rest of my collection.

Hello mjward,beginning of backup fuzzy and blotchy?I haven't done that one yet. You said you shrunk the entire dvd.Did you use auto compression or custom compression?How long is this movie?Did you use all of dvd shrink's quality enhancements?What kind of media and what burn speed was used for this backup?Do you have any rw's to to practice with and do Main Movie only?I usually do main movie only.This will help on your issue.
