After using DVD Shrink 3.0 version 5 Beta for over a year and now trying to use version 3.2 I can't get it to do anything I get the following error...
====================================================== Dvd Shrink has encountered an error and cannot continue.
Failure to read file "F:\Video_TS\Vts_01_0.Vob"
Copy protection error-The read failed because the sector is encrypted.
=========================================================
I recieve this error on DVDs that I have previously made successfull back ups of too.
Anyone know what is going on?

Should you find that DVD Shrink is having problems with a disc, open DVD Decrypter and rip the DVD with that. After backing up more than 800 DVD's, I haven't encountered a single instance where DVD Decrypter failed to do the job. :D)

If ripping with DVD Decrypter in the "Default" mode doesn't seem to be doing the job, go to "Tools", "Settings", "File" "Mode" then "tick" Remove PUO's" . If you're ripping in the "ISO", "Read", "Mode" "tick" "Remove PUO's" there also. IMPORTANT: While you're here, go to the "I/O" tab and in the bottom right-hand side "tick" "Ignore read errors," an excellent setting when working with a disc with a corrupt file or two then click "OK" and endeavor to rip again.
] I feel that nothing can beat ripping the DVD using the "ISO", "Read", "Mode" and then using "File", "Open disc Image " in DVD Shrink to open the ISO image then processing as usual then burn to disc with DVD Decrypter.
HINT: Don't forget to go back to DVD Decrypter after ripping to reset the "Mode" to "ISO" "Write".

try ripping with DVD Decrypter first, then run it through Shrink.
