to popla
All i did were select the source of the movie, and make sure it will decrypt the entire movie on a folder on the HD. DO NOT choose to split the movie. After that I ran DVD Shrink and made it become 4.5 GB
Then I burnt it using DVD Decrypter
I got the wide screen as well as full screen. I dont know what did u and eagle66 did but that's all i did, very simple.

I also had no problem at all using Super DVD Copy. Simply start up Super DVD Copy, open the RE2 DVD, and it asked for a folder to save the files too, I choose the folder I created "RE2". It ran thru 2 passes, and it created 2 folders within the "RE2" folder, one being disk1, and second being disk2. In disk1, it created all the menus, and complete fuctionality and the movie is in widescreen, and in disk2 it created a full working movie with menu's and everything but in full screen. Worked great, no need to use DVDshrink, each folder was less then 4gigs.

Well I did get decrypter to work on it with the list I posted, but when I sent it to shrink I get an error when trying to open the files.

Here is the error I get.

I have tried all of the PSL lists on this thread and get the same error every time.

EDIT NOTE: I just changed url to image.

Your problem is your using in that screen shot Super DVD Ripper. You need "Super DVD Copy". Try that and let us know how it goes.

Hi guys

Following "flip218" suggestions, VobBlanker(1st time user) populates it's working screen ... but "Process button" is not active, grayed out. I click on "PROC.ALL", VobBlanker remains at idle, no processing occuring. Hi-light all entries on "Title Set" menu, continues as above. Hi-light just 1st entry "VIDEO_TS.VOB" in "Title Set" view, continues as above .. "Process button" always greyed out/not availble and clicking on PROC.ALL does not start any processes.
What step am I missing??
Thanks for your assistance.

I got one more question, what is the sure way in DVD Shrink to get rid of the directors commentary and just get the movie sound track? I have some movies that this shows up in and it hasnt been a problem till now. I just got the prismiq media player and if the directors commentary is there it will play it over the movie sound track.

Thanks for any help.

Chris.

I used Decrypter (with PSL import from a2liter) then used Shrink to finish the job. It all went well, but the backup is not perfect. It doesn't always play or there is no sound. Sometimes I have to use 2x speed in the very beginning to get the movie to start and have sound. Once the movie starts the backup is perfect.

I am not new to this, so I know that my media, burner, and players are all compatible. Did anyone else experience this issue?

Which PSL file worked the best? The one with the extra sectors in bold (from a2liter) or the prior one (from tomkreut)?
