Do you have a video card? Might be a conflict with that driver. May need to try and update driver or use one made by somebody else besides nvidia.

Edit: nevermind thats not a nvidia video driver. That driver has got to be causing your problem. How'd you find that arniebear?

XP should have the drivers and controllers you need. I don't know how you got those nvidia controllers. I would delete them but I can't guarantee anything. Do so at your own risk.

I can't answer that, don't know but when you get the problem resolved it should burn both formats. Where did those nvidia drivers come from? You would have had to loaded them in somehow.

From my little knowledge Nvidia has to do with motherboard controllers it is built in, and I am not sure if there is some kind of update or not. You must have gotten chipset drivers with your computer if so try a reinstall maybe it will correct your problem with the DMA.

I have had my computer change overnight and give me a fit, and I never know why it does it. Since you say you were burning three days ago and everything was fine, the why not try a plain simple system restore, it probably won't correct that DMA problem, but it may right something.

woo hoo.. I fixed it.. thank you all for all your help..

In case anyone wants to know how I fixed it...

Under IDE ATAPI I did not have primary or secondary channels.. all I had was NVIDIA nforce.. .. so I clicked on NVIDIA clicked on update drivers and waited.. after a minute a few things flashed on my screen but off before i could read them.. then it said restart? so i said ok.. when it came back on I had primary and secondary and the nvidia was gone..

I checked the DMA's and i think they are how they are suppose to be.. Still not sure why it worked 3 days ago and not since.. but anyways I just burned another dvd with the tygo 2

thanks again to everyone.. hopefully this keeps working and I am not back here in a week.. thanks
