dvd shrink burning, newbie problems

hey, im trying copy a movie, with dvd shrink. i click open disc, and it goes through the movie preview, and i have made sure that their is enough room to fit on the dvd. everything looks good. i click back up, and i get a new box that says burn to hardware, or something to that effect. their is also a dvd/audio ts thing. i burn the file to c drive because i only have one dvd drive. after that i let it encode. when its done encoding, i have no idea what to do next.
any help?

depends on what you encoded, Either files or a ISO image file. Either will work I believe. If you encoded than it's time to burn your disc with the burning software of your choice. My personal steps are these:
1. reencode and compress with Shrink, to an ISO
2. Burn with Decrypter or Alchy 120%. :)

thanks for the info. i went the way of the ISO, and everything seemed to work great. for some reason i get an I/O error, and i cant burn the ISO.
any info?

What media are you trying to use ?
If you insist on using crappy media, many times the proggy won't burn to it - Look through the forum and find some posts on the correct media to use for DVD Video work - There is a difference !

hey i've been trying to backup seinfield season 1 disk one and am following the guide with DVD Shrink and all seems well but it wont play in my dvd player only on my computer...i've been able to burn dvds that dont need to be compressd and they work fine on my player any suggestions?

ok thanks i'm gonna try and shrink the size even more so it wont hit the edge and hopefuly that will work if not i guess its off to future shop ill let ya know how it works thanks for your help
