I'm going to attempt to wrap this thread up in one statement -

There is only one problem with backing up this game - getting the second layer to copy properly. That's all.

All you need to do is copy the second layer properly, which is do-able, but difficult, since not all burners and DL media can do it right.

I have finally cracked the case.......it seems the problem with backing this game up is that when you make a 1:1 copy onto a dl dvd-r, the bad sectors are not backed up. Therefore, the ps2 thinks it is reading a factory pressed game. All you have to do is hold the reset button for exactly 3 seconds, then let go and it will boot up fine. This method will NOT work with swap magic flip tops, it will only work with modded ps2s, and it doesnt work on v.7 ps2s for some reason. Hope this helps!

Has anyone tried putting the first layer on the hdd w/ the second layer on a dvdr? Does u think it matters if you use a memory card exploit for hdloader or not?
