What programs are you using ?
Answer: DVD Shrink -
Anything else ?

Where did the files you're working with come from ?
What format are they in, RAR, Bin/Cue, AVI, VCD, SVCD, MPEG2, DVR, WMV, MPEG 2 DVD compatible, ISO or VOB's ?

What Guide OR Guides are you using ?

Exactly where are you and what are you doing when your error occurred ?

That'll do'er . . .

Three solutions.

Option 1.

Use AnyDVD which will slice right through that bad boy.

If your copy is over 2 weeks old, you need the new update -

AnyDVD (21-day Trial, then Buy)
http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html

Option 2.

A newer encryption (end of "04") involves either a "jumping Jack" OR a "running Kid" the Bourne Supremacy, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Punisher, The Pianist, Taken, The Shape of Things, Scarface special edition and one or two others are in this group.- In "Unreferenced materials" select title 1 menus, there is a "Boy" running (or running)(in green shorts (bad taste in clothes)). By checking him out in the "Preview" screen, you can see his outfit too. Sometimes DVD Shrink gets past it sometimes not -

If you don't make it past it then go to that Unreferenced materials select Title 1 menus - Then go to "Compression" select "Custom Ratio" then select "Still image" then try DVD Shrink again, it should slide right on through, like a hot knife through tender Turkey -

Option 3.

Run it through VOBBlanker first, then pickup the files with DVD Shrink and process as usual -

NOTE: Make sure that the files are in a VIDEO_TS folder so that DVD Shrink can see them.

http://www.iespana.es/jsoto/

It's simple to use - Input, from your original DVD to input, output to a previously made VIDEO_TS folder - Then pickup with DVD Shrink using "Open Files."

Cheers,

Pete

Here is a pic of the little bugger(Need hotlink site). Ran across him with Eternal Sunshine.

I used Dvd Decrypter first. Then hit the files with VobBlanker. After that DVD Shrink with the VobBlanker output files.

Finally got a backup made.

I can't link to the image so you can cut an paste the url into your browser.

Forget It. I just don't want to put it on my own server for legal reasons. If anyone knows of a site I can put a jpg and hotlink it let me know.

I tried.
