So I have Fuji disks, worked fine before, not my sony dru-710a wont recognize the media, always asks for a burnable disks. Any ideas whats up?

Update your drives firmware if you haven't already done it.

I already tried that. My drive said it already had the latest firmware upgrades. BYX3 I think, but am positive it was 3.

Any other ideas why it would now just keep asking for new burnable media? I just bought a 100 pack of Fuji 8x off ebay, and now they wont work. The ones I had before worked fine.

I have had this problem as well and and some 200 discs here that my burner hates.
Even though firmware is up-to-date the burner just doesn't like them.
Perhaps buy smaller lots so that if they don't work then you aren't stuck with a heap of them, like me!!
