Hi, Im trying to make a back up copy for one of my dvds. I put it into dvd shrink and it gets to about 24% when analysing. At this point an error message comes up saying


Dvd shrink encountered an error and cannot continue

Failed to read the file "D:\"

Data error (cyclic redundancy checks)


Can anyone help me with this problem or guide me where to find a solution? Thanks a million!

CRC errors mean a scratched, dirty or damaged disc.
Give it a good clean and try again. Running a lenses cleaner through your DVD ROM/Burner may help as well.
New protection may throw these errors as well, so the use of DVD Decrypter or AnyDVD may help.
