I forgot to add that I wanted a to know how to add those three emulators and a mp3 player (or wav player, if there's such thing) all on one disc and boot it using Swap Magic 3.6 with silde card.

Why won't it work with the NES emulator but work without it? How will I be able to choose which emulator I want to use? And why won't it work with infoNES?

magus,

Go to my site

http://members.shaw.ca/PS2_BOOT_CD/

and READ it! There is a list of ALL the emulators that come on the disk as well as what they do. If you had of read that page even just one time you would already know that all the emulators you are asking about are on the disk. As well as an MP3 player, and a DivX player. I didnt think it was really that hard!

Also if you read the first 11 pages of this thread you will know why its impossible right now to put a nes emulator on the same disk.

OR

You can just burn the disk and use it and you will see how it all comes together.

A notice to anyone that is thinking of posting questions on here about my AIO disk.

I will be changing the format of the website. It will have NO possible way to contact me from the site. And anyone that asks a question on here that can be found by just reading will get no answer from me, or anything pointing you to the answer.

Support for this CD is going to be a PAID resource. Over 20,000 hits to the site and I have 1 person that has sent a donation.(thank you BTW)
I said before I do not intend to get rich off this, but if you expect me to help you with your stupid trite questions then you better expect to pay for it!

I can tolerate laziness if it means I get a reward (in the form of money) If you expect ANY help for free, then you better start reading. All the questions that need to be asked about this disk have been asked on this thread or this one

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/190032

If the answer is NOT on ones of those 2 threads then it is already documented and printed in the READ ME's for the disk set. I have NOT heard a NEW question in about 5 months now. So you can understand (hopefully) my frustration with this.

I wanted to help out the community by putting this all together. I made the disk for myself first, then offered it to others for free.Do NOT try to take advantage of my niceness by being lazy on your end.

To all those that have helped out and pointed out issues and made requests for the next set I Thank you. If you wish to answer some questions that people have then you are more than welcome. Just that MY personal support is being pulled.

If you have any questions about this Cd please READ READ R*E*A*D!!!!!!

Jeez, sorry man, I didn't want to get you hyped up about this, I was just asking because I'm new to this stuff. I wanted to download your disc, but I didn't because I figured I'd only use the emulators and the mp3 player since I already have a boot disc and I don't have a PS2 hard drive.

Just answer me this: Why wouldn't infoNES work? It has an .elf file. And if it wouldn't work, then could you tell me how to create a cd with a SNES emulator, Genesis emulator, and a mp3 player (could you also tell me where you found that mp3 player)? If this is too much trouble for you to answer, then just tell me something like "just download the disc".

If you know infones is in .elf format, and you know that my disk uses .elf format files for everything to run, and you know the GUI I use is CALLED 'launchELF'. then put 1+1+1 together and you should then alrewady know that you 'could' add infones to the list of elf files. In fact my README documents this and explains how to do it.

The REASON that inofnes and IMBnes is NOT on my disk set is because BOTH programs are USELESS to be run on the PS2. Its funny how an 8 bit system cannont seem to be emulated properly on a 128 bit system. But th ats the way it works!

infones is POSSIBLE to add, but worthless in my opinion as well as most people that have tried it. If you dont beleive me then do it! I wont stop you. But as I ALREADY stated in this forum, the emulator is slow, it hangs, it freezes and it generally sux! Plus ANY of the good nes games were ported to the Snes, and then prettied up. So why not just run them on snes and call it a day?

Your line: 'gee, I never thought of that! Stinky your the man, here have $5 for the trouble'

Stinky: ' Your welcome, and your sins are forgiven'

BTW: I have been listening to a lot of Eminem lately, so that may be why I am soo pissed off all the time!

Wait, you can use NES roms on SNES station?

And I still want to know how to put SNES station, Pgen, and mp3 player on one disc but you haven't told me how or where to get mp3 player. And I'm sorry for bugging you like this and I'd donate if I could, but I don't have a credit card (I could have one, but I wouldn't use it anyway).

no, you cannot play nes roms on the snes emu. I am saying that good nes games were ported (by nintendo) to the snes so they could make more money at the time. Now you can download those version and run them on the snes instead.

For example, you can get mario 1,2,3 for Nes and play those

OR

You can get MARIO ALL STARS for the Snes and it has all 3 of those plus the "lost levels" which was mario 2 in japan but never made it here.

And as I already said!!!!!!!! ...... all the other emus are already on the disk!!! I even relinked you to my site that has it!!! all you gotta do is open your eyes, and let your mouse finger do the clicking. In less than 20 minutes from now you could be playing anything you want on your PS2, but you gotta open the link first buddy!

Well thanks for you advice and info, I'm just going to download your disc since it isn't possible to create my own disc with SNES station, Pgen, and a mp3 player only.

yes it is, but you need to start with my disk.

Then just take out the things you dont want. As I already said it documents all this in the readmes.

If everyone could make the disk set that I made then I would not have posted it up for download. I made this disk because I had a purpose for it for ME. I asked around on here when I was a newb and everyone said it was NOT possible what I was trying to do. I finally figured out how to do it and now I am king of the PS2 Universe! Just ask me!

Is there any way to do the exploit without using another modded PS2 (I read that that's how you have to do it in your instruction)? I don't know anybody with a modded PS2 and my PS2 is not modded (I use slide card). So is there any way I can use your disc?

One last question (I promise):

I'm not very clear on how to create the title.db file. What is the SLUS # that I need to type in? Or maybe you could explain it better.

you get the number off your PS1 trigger disk. The link I gave you in the instructions is the most complete instructions you will get.

Read it 3 times, then read it while you are trying to make the disk. It will all make sense. Its not that complicated, there are just a lot of steps.

You know what? Forget this all. I can live with having SNES station and Pgen on seperate discs. This is just too much work for me and I really hate bugging people. I'm sorry for all the time I've made you waste, but thanks for helping anyways.

if you have swap magic then you dont need to do the exploit. SO theres nothing fancy to do at all. Just download the AIO disk, put your roms in the folders and burn it.

Oh, I was really confused when it said in huge letters on your website that you need to do the exploit on unmodded consoles. I thought it meant that you had to do the exploit if you didn't have a modchip. With that cleared out of the way, I'll burn it tommorow after I buy some cd-r's today. Thanks for clearing that out, stinky. I'd like to donate for all the trouble I caused you, but don't know how without a credit/debit card. Is there any other way I can donate?
