DVD Shrink Reading REALLY Slow

My Sony Dw-D22a used to read the disks in dvd shrink 3.2 at around 5000 but now im lucky if i get it to 1000. i tried flashing the firmware to a different one, but still have the same problem. i really would like some help with it:-/ i miss backing up my dvds

Hi eillufwa, i had the same problem,it could be you're mother board is on its way out??.try reinstalling DVD Shrinkk and you're firmware as well it might help, also, clean up your're hard drive.

Also worth checking is ASPI layer.

Update the ASPI drivers with ForceASPI or official Adaptec v4.71.2.

IMO it makes a big difference. like hursty said, a recent install may have overwritten the version you need to work with DVDShrink

I was Having Kinda The Same Problem But I Defraged And Ran Norton And Now Shrink Is Back To Normal.

no i havent installed anything, i called sony and they said that they hadnt even heard of my model, because its oem. but he said to just reinstall Nero and it might work. still doesnt work. and i have tried reinstalling DVD Shrink.
i hate sony.

I have exactly same problem. It must has something to do with DVD Shrink itself.
