I have just started burning movies and its been working great. Now when i comes to the movies bigger than 4.7 GB i have no idea how to compress it with DVDXCOPY PLATINIUM. Can anyone tell me how to compress it in DVDXCOPY. And another question will a DL 16x burner burn the movie on the disc as if the disc was two disc? THANKS

Have you being using platinum for burning? X-copy compresses it for you. Have you actually tried putting a movie in, open up x-copy, press the read button? When it has finished reading it will ask for a blank disc. It does everything for you.

Ok this is what i do. First,i put in the movie open up DVDXCOPY Platinium, Then when it read the movie it tells me to chose what titles i want. So when i select the whole movie, its bigger than the 4.7 GB, i dont even continue because i think its to big to fit on a normal disc. So if i still burn it after it tells me its bigger than 4.7 it will attomactically compress it for me? Thanks.

I really appreciate the help but i have another question lol. well all i hearing is that DVDXCOPY wont get past the new protections out there. I wanted to know if DVDShrink and Decrypter wiil harm my comp. in any way. If it does, what will work with DVDXCOPY to help it get throught those new protections on DVD's? Thank u very much :)

DVD Decrypter and Shrink work great together, better than Xcopy ever did for me.You can't beat the price. If you really want to keep your Xcopy you might want to check out AnyDVD to run in the backround to break the new encrypions.

Programs I use and recomend

DVD Decrypter
DVD Shrink
Nero Recode2
