@ rusty,
Multiposting is against forum rules as well as hi-jacking threads.
Maybe if you took peoples advice and followed the forum rules,
Someone would help you.

Let's have a look at the forum rules Rusty. As previously stated multiposting isn't allowed and hijacking is rude.

danbooke,
I'm interested in X-Men Legends.
Would it fit on a regular DVD-R and would DVD Decrypter suffice?
I have a flip top so will there be any problems with that?
What media brand would you suggest to make this work?
Anything else I should know?
Thanks in advance for your help. :)

As far as Haunting Ground goes, I was concerned about the dummy files as well. So, I copied it twice. Once by just doing a 1:1 copy and the by rebuilding it using the same method alot of people used to rebuild Bloodrayne 2. Much to my surprise both copies worked. So in effort to dispell any problems with the 1:1 copy (the one I did not rebuild) I sat and played it last night for about 3 hours, and didn't recieve one problem. Now that's not to say I may not incur one later on down the road, bu so far so good. As far as X-Men Legends, I know alot of people have had problems with this game. I for one didn't. It was actually one of the first games I ever copied. Being a noob at what I was doing just used what I had, Nero and some cheap media I had bought from Wal-Mart. That game still works to this day, so maybe I just got lucky!

Peruytu,

I used Alcohol 120%, ripped & burned X-Men Legends with that with no probs. Area 51 was the same. No probs. Used Memorex DVD-R at maximum speed and I also have a PS2 Slim.

i dled the cd fix and everything. that doesnt work either. What i get instead of the PROMT that the instructions tell me i should get is a red screen with a pink border. =( please help. I finished my homework all early so i could play all day sunday and then suddenly SADNESS :(

edit: im thinking from buying the new SM 3.2 or whatever is the newest if i cant find out how to fix it... i followed all the instructions for god of war also, rebuilding it and it freezes at the very first screen... so im hoping buying SM 3.2 or the newest version will help... but i just purchased my SM 2.0 dvd really recently from someone =(

I had problems with Timesplitters. I am using a modchip though not swapmagic and mine was a PAL version of the game. I tried burning it at 1x on both Decrypter and Alcohol 120%. Both didnt work as I would just get the black screen on startup. Finally I rebuilt the ISO using the Nero method and burnt it at 4x. It takes about 30 seconds to load the game but it plays flawlessly when loaded. Think i burnt it onto a RitekG04

would the quality of the disc be the reason why the backups that i have made are not being recognised by my ps2 because i have followed all the correct steps the make the back up copys to dvd-r! also does a game not have to be cracked first before your ps2 will recognise it?
