Yo is there anyone out there that knows how to backup digital devil saga c?mon its about 4.20 gb I know its big I?m using a flip top with swap magic I have made a backup of the original because its scratched up that?s why I need a back up of it. Though it does work (original) I would feel safe making a back up but whenever I burn it (using alchole) the game is too slow it takes 5 minutes just to open a door in the game and 20 minutes just to load the start screen I have tries Nero the back up doesn?t work and also DVD Decrypter and still no results some one help.

for anyone who needs help reading dual layer backups i am using the Magic 3.1 ModChip.

you may want to try DVD Decrypter...i personally think it is better for games...and you may want to write the iso at the slowest speed possible...1x or 2x or whatever the slowest your burner will allow

thnx for repling but i have already used dvd decryptor and Nero and alcholoe on slowest speeds its still slow do u think it could be my media

would you post the log from DVD Decrypter...it might help for us to see your media type and all info

Hello all, just had a few question, I backed up a copy of Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, with DVD Decrypter and with Nero on DVD+R and DVD-R at max write speed, I can play both of them in my ps2 if I start it up with the original, then pause the game and switch it with the copy, I can play an area/level, put when I try to go to the next area/level, The septor icon comes up and just spins there, and never go's on, but if I put the original back in it well go on to the next area/level and I can switch out with copy again and play that area/level so on and so on, I don't have a mod chip or swap magic, so I was wondering how they would make a differents, how they work, and why They allow the copy to work all the why through. ist at the slowest speed but i have heard that if i use riteck dvds it may work but i will show you the log form DVD Decrypter later on (if i find any blank dvds, becuase i wasted pratically all of them by trying to make dds work lol)

Hurst,
I finally got the haunting ground working, I just got the swap magic today and it works flawlessly. I'm a believer now. I still like the hd install = no load time though. thx for your help :)

its the same,but you can patch from NTSC to PAL,with a patching app' if you like

its not neccessary to patch an the NSTC or PAL version if you are using swap magic, becuase with swap magic version 3 and above, u can just change the video type to the desire version and it works fine.

I got swap magic 3.6+ I booted the game just fine (thx all) but it was in black and white. Is that a tv issue or a patch game then burn issue??
