okay since it seems you guy's know a little about Nero drive image --i have question for any of you ... how do i make an image of a pc game disc so that i dont have to load the disc everytime to play the game ( doing this with Alcohol 120 was pretty simple) but my little brother has Nero 6 ultra and he wants to be able to do this too .. i know it's there but i just cant find it ....
thanks ,but i know how to mount an image - i have sort of answered my own question any way - i made an image of a pc game using Nero burning rom /iso-cd and selected ignore read errors - however it took over 2 hours to process and would not work when i mounted it to Nero image drive ( i gather that Nero does not support emulation for copyright media ) it did work using Daemon Tools though - my question now to anyone who knows -is can this process be sped up a little using Nero - for example the same game on a simular pc using alcohol takes only 20 minutes max. ( i'm guessing due to the fast skip read errors option that alcohol uses ) does Nero have a simular option that i'm missing somehow ?
ok i just did this yesterday this is how u do it. open up Nero v6.6, click on advanced, a menu will apper on the left, click down a few times till u c Nero image drive. click in it. then click enable, select image drive 1, now wati this takes a wile to install the driver, click yes to the driver diolog box, watit some more, then it will say an image drive letter nect to it, that is the letter it is im "my computer", now click on the tab next to the 1 ur on, and click brows, there u can find a .iso image to mount to the drive and play it.
(please excuse my spelling and grammer)
