bobcro ,
It did not affect mine at all but I did a clean install of SP2. There has been some issues for some people w/ SP2 and Shrink and I'll attempt to find the post for you. It is on another forum.
i finally got rid of win2000 a few nights ago, and went back to XP (hadn't used xp in years). anyway i have a 'slipstream' xp cd, ie sp2 is incorporated in the cd, and so far PC has been well behaved. Have ripped & burnt a few films since going XP, nothing untoward yet. Well nothing i can attribute to XP yet..

yup, i haven't been able to do too many movies since going back to XP as have been setting PC up piecemeal. Now it's done so full pelt into movies again. I don't expect any XP or SP2 problems.
Recently, replaced windows 2000 with XP (SP2). DVD Shrink installed fine. But, it crashes as soon as I click on Backup button. I am going to try the solutions posted in this forum today.
