I've never had a problem with backing up DVD's using Shrink, I only use shrink to back them up not with DVD Decryptor. Very recently I encountered a problem burning all DVD's. The DVD encodes fine but when it is done encoding it spits out the blank disc and a dialogue box comes up that says...

I think your media is the issue. Try different media or a firmware upgrade. What kind of media are you using?

Note also on your log:

Last possible write address on media: 2298495 (510:46.45, 4489MB)
Last address to be written: 2286223 (508:02.73, 4465MB)

Set Target size of disk preferably between 4300-4350MB. This way you won't be writing on outer edge.

Note also:

Disc Manufacturer: CMC MA - G. AE1

CMC Media has a history of instability. As squizzle notes above, may want to change media and reduce target size...

Classic sign of a firmware issue or a bad batch of discs. Try locating and download the latest firmware for your burner.

Did you change anything about your media when these issues started like different format/brand name/or even spindles?

It's probably the crappy cmags. The crappy media probably threw off your DMA:
CdRomPeripheral : JLMS XJ-HD166S atapi Port 0 ID 0 DMA: Off

You may want to check that out. DMA should be on.

Also reduce that backup target in DVD Shrink like squizzle posted. The crappier the media, the smaller the target.

Since you have DVD Decrypter, set DVD Shrink to burn with DVD Decrypter instead of Nero. This will help decide if there is something wrong with your Nero.Nero can be a little flaky from time to time.

You may even want to try out the plus format media,if your stand alones are capable of playing them.Try a small batch of maxell plus media. They have some very good manufacturers and they don't use cmags,so far.

I didn't change the discs i used prior to the problem. I have a NEC 1300A drive but not sure what firmware to get exactly. And tried burning with Decrypter and the problem continued.

chmelar,
Here is the firmware you need. 1/2 way down on the left side is the 1300 Update. Use the Win. version. I have that burner in another system and I use the overseas update for it. You want this one:
ND-1300A Firmwareupdate 1.0B

Here's a site for your firmware:
http://www.americal.com/pg/dvd-burner-writer-firmware-version-updates-downloads.html?OVRAW=firmware%20updates&OVKEY=firmware%20update&OVMTC=standard

Use Nero infotool to find your exact firmware.Your bios screen will also tell you your firmware version.Compare it to the latest, but being an older model- the manufacturer may not have updated it for a long time. There is a risk on updating firmware,so that should be a last resort.Try some discs on the bottom of the spindle,if that is what you have.

Since you are using the same batch, the media quality can vary within a spindle. Cmags are notorious about fluctuating quality. They can screw us up in so many ways.It all comes down to quality control.

Try another quality media. We need to eliminate the possibility of the media.

Also reduce that backup target:
Open up dvd shrink
edit
preferences
click on dvd-5/scroll till custom/enter 4300 mbs
OK.
