Dear our friend,

Some movie DVD 9 come out that I want to split into 2 DVD 5, DVD SHRINK cannot Split. I often used the Re-AUTHOR to split the DVD9 into 2 DVD5 succesfully (100%). Recently I try to RE-AUTHOR one DVD 9 MOVIE into 2 DVD 5 , DVD SHRINK cannot read the MOVIE and one message appear : An error happen SHRINK cannot read the DISK.
I put the other DVD 9 that I succesfully spilt. The SHRINK Split correctly. One question about the new CSS coming the new DVD movie. ??? I use the latest version of DVD SHRINK
Please help me to solve this problem.
I want to use DVD X COPY GOLD to SPLIT DVD9 into 2 DVD5. IS IT POSSIBLE WITH DVD X COPY GOLD.

You must be trying to split a newer movie that Shrink cannot handle. If you used DVD Decrypter to rip the movie to hardrive and then go to Shrink you can re-author your movie as before. There are guides in my sig by Scuba Pete and bbmayo that will instruct you on the whole process. Yes you can use DVD Xcopy but that has not been updated for awhile just like Shrink and you may end up having the same problem. DVD Decrypter is a much better program.

Dear member,
I updated the latest version of DVD Shrink.
I also used DVD Decrypter to RIP into C. I use DVD Shrink (RE-AUTHOR) to split. The same message appear error occur DVD Shrink cannot read.
I am back with the DVD that SPLIT WELL with SHRINK, using DVD DECRYPTOR to RIP INTO C, and using DVD Shrink RE AUTHOR ALWA?YS work well. So I ask the question about new CSS or not ??????
