The VOS divxtodvd program seems to be really popular lately, after readin the threads. I was usin dvd santa and i encoded a file but it took to long and it didnt have any audio at all when i played it back, this was really frustrating after waitin so long for the encodeing!I have yet to use divxtodvd but all you people say its good. The Dvd shrink works great, but was wonderin if its better to encode it to VideoTS or ISO? Also the copied dvd worked on my PC and ps2, but durin 3 quaters of the movie in my dvd player, it froze and started to skip? Did i do somthin wrong or was it my player. It does the same thing at the same spot!!! Thier is so many programs out there, i just wanna know which ones work close to 100%....these 2 programs i mentioned seem to do the trick, and are highly popular.

VSO divx to dvd is one relatively easy program to use and it converts its file to a dvd movie file which then can be burnt to disc.Already encoded there is no more stuff to do, its done.A 700meg avi/xvid/divx /mpeg 1 or mpeg 2 will take about 1 hour.A similar program which can do the same is main concepts mpeg encoder.

Concerning the skipping whats the media you are using?

Is the dvd players you are using compatible with the media you are burning your projects onto?

At the end of the day it really is your choice in which way you achieve your goal, but for me vso divx to dvd seems to be the most direct and with less complications. You can burn it to video_ts /audio_ts folders if you wish as some programs actually utilise this method.

Shrink is a very good program but it cant do everything thats why there are heaps of good programs out there for you to try.You might like to look at DVD Decrypter, TMPGEnc dvd author as possible alternatives as well as Nero recode.
