The only real advantage of making an iso and burning w/ dvdd is for those who don't have Nero (or money to buy it) and need some way to burn their vidio folder created by shrink.

It can also be used as a tool for those that think they may be having a problem with Nero and want to try an alternative burning method.

Either one will work fine if you have Nero and dvdd.

Sure thing my friend. I'm just glad it's sorted, hopefully for good.

Creaky pm'ed me about some crossflashing support on this thread and I wasn't too sure I wanted to get involved (very lazy earlier) but it's all good. I love happy endings.

@kisielews - glad got sorted in the end. if you buy newer media sometime, remember it's firmware that teaches your drive what to do with it and you got some clues to refer to if you need to.

@mort and andmerr, cheers for the help guys, have a gud 'un

true, but i think my patience leaked out instead of keeping it to myself. all my own fault i post too much. it's taken me 2hours this morn to catch up with last night's stuff. Now it's time to dive in the shower and then go play with the kids. its at least 30C out there, wew!. just wish i had renewed the river licence sooner as we could be off up river with this 55ft monster boat. Ah well we should have plenty more good weather yet this summer

Lazy bum here, just goes to show ya sometimes we make things out to be way to difficult. The more I read over the thread I was convinced there was a set up problem and a fresh start was in order. Glad to see things are now peachy.

Andmerr what continent you on? Must be down under. It's 10:24 AM saturday june 18 here now. You're half a day ahead of me. I'm central time USA.
