DVD Shrink maxed the auto compression.

Custom compression is maxed too. What else is there to do besides compressing it twice? Which I am avoiding due to the low quality. Now my dvd shrink has been working perfectly and I've experienced no problems. Now for those of you who may know DVD Decrypt, I have noticed it took 4X as long to rip to ISO.

did you uncheck unwanted audio and subtitles, is there a full screen and wide screen version on the disc if so you may have to set one to still image. my two cents. what movie are you trying to back up.

This is not a movie but a live concert and music videos by an artist. So there are no additional audio streams or subtitles.

Wow.. I hope somebody lends some advice as I've got the exact same problem with a Dave Matthew's concert. No matter how much I compress and remove the extra narration stuff, there is not enough room. Even with the "custom" manual compression, it will not fit.
I'll probably have to consider a dual layer disk, unless there is a work-around.

AHA!!

I knew you were gonna say it's a concert! The problem is the multiple angles. You're gonna have to use Reauthor mode and only pick one of the angles. Probably best anyway, concert footage looks like crap when it's compressed because of all the flickering lights. Unfortunately you also lose the menus.

I have decided to use an 8.5 double-layer DVD+r to copy the 8.2 gig concert. This will retain it's original quality. Although, those discs are still expensive, I am get them for $6.75 a piece if purchased in a 3-pack.
Does anyone know when prices will eventually drop?
