@tumadre
everything u did is right minus one step soo here ill try to put it in step form :)
1) use DVD Decrypter to burn to hard Drive
2) then use Shrink to compress it to anothe folder or just make a folder within the Decrypter folder where u put the hard drive copy.
3) Use a DVD burning program that copies DVD's e.g. Clone DVD etc...
That should make a full copy of the movie with no probs with all xtras etc....
I hope that helps.... Keep me posted....

'incompatible medium' usually means your drive doesn't like your discs.
What media are you using? Does your drive support both -/+ R/RW.
You should also check see if you drive has any firmware updates.

Supply this info and we may be able to solve your problem (hopefully)

You are on two threads
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/205719
please stick to one so we can help you, otherwise it gets confusing. You stated you are using TDK disks, but still need the make, model and current firmware you are using.

Open up DVD Decrypter and make sure your drive is listed in the box, the go to the Tools tab, then drive, then capabilities. This should bring up all the properties of your drive.

You need to make sure you are using +r media only then. Are your TDK's +R?

Yes +rw should be fine. To locate the last firware you have when decrypter brings up device and lists your drive it will say something like toshiba ODD-DVD SD-R6252 next to it will be the firmware - it should start with a 1. What does it say?

With a blank disc in your drive in Nero go to toolkit>nero drive info>
it will bring up your specs - click on disc info. What's the media id?
We need to make sure your media is not made by an iffy manufacture. TDK uses some though not always.
Definitely update your firmware with the link arniebear gave.
Actually I got Nero the old fashion way - I bought it. Well worth every penny. I been using their products for years.
