Ricoh is good media. Now do the firmware update. And try again. Also when you using shrink - shrink will burn automatically with Nero. No need to burn to an ISO and burn w/ DVDD. One less step.

One last thing - If Shrink detects Nero in the target tab you will see the option 'burn with Nero' and your drive will be listed. Click that option.

okay so i will try again i will use the decrypt file and directed shrink it and burn it at the same time with DVD Shrink but what mode at firt should i decryt the dvd with DVD Decrypter what mode should i use cause i use the file mode its that fine??

i try with clone dvd but now it said the the medium was bad and problably was a bad medium

yes but i belevie there is somthing wrong with my drive or maybe that my dvd disk are bad so i'm trying to figure was the problem

Try going through this thread - others have had the same problem - you may find something usefully.

However if you did upgrade your firmware it should have taken care of the problem according to an hp site:

You best bet is to contact HP support - hopefully it's still under warranty.
