99% of CRC errors are disk related. Either the disk you are loading is scratched, smudged, dirty or has an imperfection, in which case clean it, or get another original. Or the disk you are loading has protection that Shrink cannot handle. Download DVD Decrypter from http://www.filepedia.com, look under rippers. Rip the file to your hard drive and then proceed to open the file from Shrink and complete your burn process.

I used this to copy Hostage to a DVD-R, took 17 mins for complete process.
It rips the files to a folder you create on hard drive, then writes movie to blank using internal burning engine. It's a cool piece of software, with no frills to confuse. This is an alternative to DVD Shrink. Hope it helps :-)
