THATS IT!! I GIVE UP!!!!
~ok i tried everything~! means everything!!! its just doesnt work!!!
~i even burned the game again! and used square to load.... using magic swap!!
BUT NOTHING BUT BLANK SCREEN!!! AHHH IM GOING CRAZY!!!
-if u think u can help me out... please do so! if u can play cricket 2005 right now using magic swap please please please tell me what to do! i beg of u!!

I have bought and playing cricket 2005 (PAL) I have succesfully made a copy of this any questions you have please and i will answer to the best of my ability p.s I have a messiah 2 mod chip (got fed up with all issues with swap magic)
p.s.s Word of of advice cricket 2005 is good but from all accounts worth waiting for brian lara international cricket to be released here in the uk 21st July

I backed up Cricket 2005 just fine. I am using a DUO2SE modchip on a V4 PS2, but it works fine on my friends Slim PS2 using Swap Magic 3.3. However, I did not use my usual DVD Decrypter ISO Write methods to burn this game. That is because my PS2 or modchip or Ritek G04's or a combination of all 3 do not like EA games. The only way I can get them to work is use the Nero rebuild method, even if the games dont need rebuilding and rebuilding has no affect,I still use this method and so far it works 100% of the time. gooner19 - u see? i m a cricket maniac but unfortunately i live in usa.... and there arent any cricket ps2 games out here for ps2 american version... i even bought magic swap for cricket i just love that sport ... but unfortunately i guess the luck isnt with me... no matter what i do... no matter wat i try... i just dont know now if ill ever get to play cricket -.-.... btw is brian lara international from EA SPORTS? cuz if it isnt... then i have 1 last chance to make that work... the screen going blank and more i have noticed its only occuring in most of EA games..... anyways get back to me soon as possible thank you once more!

im still not sure y it isnt working..
looks like the other guys had mods which made it work for them easy..heres the thing tho..when u copied ur iso from one computer to the other u said it was on 2 dvds..i understand u cnt burn an image over 2 gb...but u mite have to try and do the whole thing on ur old comp. this time...put the slesxxxx and system file ahead of the iop and audi files whatever so that it looks like this:
SLESXXXX
SYSTEM
IOP
DATA
i knw they say that sometimes order doesnt matter...but like i said u need the sles and system files to play the game..so when ur rebuilding...u mite wanna try that..its worth a shot..

hey mr_cool see heres the prob on my other computer....that... i cant install sony dvd/cd gen remember? so im screwed unless i re download cricket 2005 on this computer... i might as well do that instead of going through all this trouble .. eh?

use nero
nero is a good way to rebuild games too
if u hv Nero on the old one..alls u gotta do is get to the part with isobuster...extract the game to a certain folder..
then open Nero burning rom...create new udf/iso project...then add the files in the order i told u and burn it..it shud work...if Nero says some crap abt the image being too big...check the settings or smthn n make sure its in UDF/ISO
srry cnt b more useful...try it.it mite work...

and its simple..told u
open Nero..
new project..umd/iso
drag the contents in the order i told u
SLESXXX
SYSTEM
AUDIO
IOP
WATEVER THE ORDER make sure that sles and system are on top..
and then burn...thats the easier way fo rebuilding...by doin this ur removing unnecesary files that are in the game...well thts bout it...

I to am stuck on this game. I never had a problem with any PAL games before. It loads up the playstation 2 screen then thats it. I know I did everything right.

Thanks for your guys help. But I tried everything you guys said and it still didn't work. I even tried the method with two different media. I have a dms3 installed and never had any problems with any games. I even got Star Wars Battlefront to work no problem. You think the old Andrew Method from the Battlefron thread would work with cricket 2005? Thanks

darkinu88 sure thing. I'm gonna try a few different methods tonight and maybe it will work. I can't believe this game is this difficult. I to am a big fan of cricket and would love to play this PAL game on my NTSC ps2.

yeah i am doing same i am running quiet a few tests my self using dvd- rw hopefully ill find a way if u or me find a way one of us will be first one to post here!!

No luck on my end. I even have a mod chip(dms3). I'm stuck. I guess I won't be playing cricket 2005 anytime soon. Its just weird it loads up with the playstation 2 screen like any other game and then just flickers once goes black and that it. I waited about 2 minutes for it to load on many differnt media and still no luck.

im having the same problems. i have a NTSC v4 ps2 with a duo2se modchip. i got the PAL iso and then patched it with jayteemaster's PAL to NTSC patch and now when i load the game the ps2 logo come on the screen and then goes to a black screen and stays there. Can any one help please?

u know what in my opinion! I BET UK WANTED TO MAKE SURE!! THAT none of us ppl will be able to play cricket 2005! so they made it something like lol un playable ! just to hate usa more haha nah i love usa n everything only thing that kills me is no cricket =( no cricket T_T!!! o well ill play is some day one day
