DVD Shrink 'hangs' regularly

Hi!

Have been using DVD Shrink (3.2.0.15) for some time but I regularly have it 'hanging' and I have to crash out of it. This is normally in the set-up stages i.e. deciding whether to do a full back-up or re-author.

Although it works great 75%+ of the time it is annoying.

Any ideas.

I am running XP.

I had the same problem. Shrink would get stuck while burning. So I started just backing up to a folder and burning with dvdsanta. Works almost every time now.

Thanks for the reply. I don't get a hang on copy or burn, although I tend to burn with Roxio. It hangs on load, starting to look at the dvd or when you try to go through some options.

Is this happening with mainly newer movie? If so you might need to either rip the movie to your hard drive with DVD Decrypter first or use AnyDVD while using DVD Shrink.

U might not have enough memory especially if you attempt to multitask while burning. U might want to invest in Nero as well...
