What type of media are using, because I think you can do a straight 1:1 Copy of this game with Nero or DvdDecrypter.

Well i did the DD thing were you go ISO>READ, ISO>WRITE and it still came up with "not a valid ps2 disk" so i pushed eject and it said "insert a disk with a higher TOC" what does that mean?

The TOC feature, well TOC means Table Of Contents when it says insert a disc with a higher TOC.This means just use an original PS2 game you have that is very big in size, such as Onimusha3 or games like that. You can normally find out how big they are by putting them into DvdDecrypter and letting it read it,then look at the right of DvdDecrypter and it will display the file size of it.Once you have found a game that has a big TOC you can eject from your Swap Magic disc and put that game in.It will say reading the TOC and once it finishes just swap for your backup. The TOC refresh doesn't work for Dvd-9 backups as it will only read the first layer of a game which at the max could be 4.7Gig in size.It is just another way of increasing the TOC instead of using the Swap Magic TOC to load games. The Swap Magic is only 4.35Gig in size for the TOC,so some single layered games will exceed this limit.I hope this helps you out alright, sorry for the late reply.

I am trying to make a backup of UEFA Champions League 2004-2005. I have tried making a straight backup copy using Nero as I have done in the past but the backup won't load using Swap Magic 3 (I believe the games' TOC is too big for SM3 to load). I have tried rebuilding the game as per instructions on this forum but without luck. One rebuilding method requires the use of Decryptor, Isobuster and CDVDGEN. I have no problems using the first two programmes but my system will not load CDVDGEN stating that this programme is not suitable for DOS systems. I have tried the Decryptor/Isobuster/Nero UDF/ISO method but only get a disc that is not recognised as a genuine PS2 disc when trying to boot it with SM3.

Can anyone show me where I am going wrong? As I say it's my first attempt at rebuilding a game and I'm not getting very far.

If a game has double layer like "god of war," do i use Black Ice method or the Sonix method to successfully back it up? I already successfully back up the God of War game. I'm just curious if the same method can apply with other games as well. thanks.

Nah man youll need either a mod chip, Swap Magic disks (with fliptop or Slide tool to boot) the backups. Sure, burn a backuip all you like, just try playing it without something to boot it.....

You cant get it for free unless you have a friend who is willing to give you it.

Now for swap magic info on it is here http://www.swapmagic.com

Well depending on what PS2 you have slim or bulkier version? The slim you need to use the magic switch pro, for the bulkier you need the slide tool. Then just use the directions to swap the swap magics disc with the burnt games and away you go :)
