Dvd shrink movie clips not playing

I've been making dvd's with clips from different movies for about 5 months or more. I do reauthor with shrink, pull out the clips i want, drag them to the left side, and burn. It's been working great. The dvd auto plays as soon as I put it in my player........but, .. about a week ago i added 3 or 4 more clips to my collection and then did re-author, same procedure, put the dvd in the player and it won't start. I hit 'play' and it will play to the end of the first clip and stop......and i get the generic dvd screen again. If i manually force it to the next clip, just before the one i'm watching quits, it will play, but i have to do that all way thru the dvd. I've burned 4, thinking maybe i just got a bad dvd....all the same, won't auto play and won't continue playing once started. WHAT is going on????

Had the same problem after combining 2 movies i.e. Kill Bill Vol 1&2. Worked fine with Godfather 2 which has 2 disc. Hope there's an easy fix.

shrink still works fine for burning movies....just did 2 last nite and they start and play fine. Think i'll remove and reinstall shrink. I'll let you know how it goes.

well...reinstalling did no good at all. I wonder if there is a limit to the number of files, ie: VOB, bup etc., that you can put on a dvd, regardless of the size? When i burn a dvd the number of files is usually between 15 and maybe 50, the last bunch of clips i tried to burn had 230. I'll try burning another dvd with fewer files on it and see it if plays.

I just burned 10 clips, (35files) instead of the 30 i was trying to burn. Worked just fine. Starts and plays like it should...so....we have a maximum number of files that can be recognized by the dvd player. When i was trying to play the bad dvds, i got a T 70 code showing on the dvd player...maybe the maximum number of files it can read???
