they always have the fuji 25 packs on sale for 9.99, regular 19.99.
the verbs at my 3 locations always seem to sell out rather quickly, but you will find at circuit city, they have the verbs digital movie + 10 pack every now and then for 5.99 with a jewel case !! just an FYI

My son came over Sunday evening for a cookout (conviently so, after I bought the food/beer) and he had a handfull of dvd's that he said were giving him trouble and he wanted to check them on my stand alone player. I also have a TV with built-in VCR & DVD. Not one of them would work on either system. Checked them out and they were all Memorex! These were some he copied about 6 months ago using XCopy. Told him to throw them in the trash and he should look toward copying all of his copies on better media.

For about the last 4 months or so, I have been buying Verb/Maxell on sale and he has been "helping himself" to a spindle every now and then when I'm not home (his Mom said it was OK.) At least now I know he is using good quality media and my wife can't say anything about me buying a lot of blanks.

Apparently none of us know what we are talking about. Coasters are all caused by inadequite power supplies or at least that is what was stated by a member in this thread. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/216438#1195550

Whoe, I didn't say it. I only provided the link although I can see where it could play a part. I'm not completely disagreeing but I don't care how good or big your power supply is, if the dye or dye layer is crap it won't make any difference how hot the laser is.

@mort81 - saw that reply re the PSU's a few mins ago, boy did i laugh out loud. That was from the same guy who advised that DVD Burning was not possible under FAT32, ONLY under NTFS - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/5/200764 and wouldn't budge from giving out such, erm, advice.

i advised re the PSU's (carefully worded as i don't want to get into another debate with him) that how come my lowly 192W PSU copes with DVD burning and everything else.
