If you are in region one DVD Decrypter still handles all movies released to date as far as I know. It is free, no longer updated and will eventually need to be replaced for some future releases. When that happens suggest AnyDVD a 'driver type' program that runs in the background an makes disks appear to be unprotected. You can check the 'guides' section on this site for using DVDD with DVD Shrink.

3085 ,
kringles gives you good advice:

To rip using DVDDecrypter go to Mode and make sure a check mark is next to file mode and you want to do all of the files. The reason Shrink freezes 1/2 the way through is either the disk has a scratch ( cleaning might help), bad press ( nothing helps) or it can not decrypt the movie. Since Shrink has not been updated in about 1 1/2 years this is the reason we recommend DVDDD or AnyDVD to decrypt the movie

That depends on what software ur using to burn. Most do allow you to burn the main title only, without the menu.

I have been using DVDD to rip files to hard disc, DVD Shrink to edit, compress as necessary and select the option to burn ISO with DVDD in Shrink. This combination has been working fine up to now.
