I like shrink cause i have not used recode nor do i want to... Shrink is simple to use and my vote goes to shrink :)

shrink, because i'm used to it and because i don't mind that it is a little slower. i have them both, same quality. you won't go wrong with either.

Nero Recode2 or Shrink using deep analysis and AEC/ fabdecrypter or anydvd running in the background/ IMGBurn to burn/main movie only mode= perfect.

My vote is for Recode - handles the compression better with better video quality when I do heavy compression. Plus it automatically unchecks the foreign audio.

Seems like a toss up. I've been experimenting all weekend and find no real difference except speed, but that doesn't really count.

I am sticking with Nero, because it is kind of picking up where shrink left off, and there are updates to look forward to. Plus, I've already spent the bucks so I might as well get my $$$ worth.

Recode almost had a landslide victory with the "merge titles" feature until i realized that it doesn't do anything!! Legend has it that will be among the first thing to be fixed in the upcoming release.

Thanks all!!
