dvd shrink says good copy but it doesnt work!

i am burning using dvdshrink, and it has been telling me that i have completed the process successfully, but i noticed that the dvd's start skipping frames at certain points in the movie, and when i check the bottom of the disks i notice faint rings around the dvd surface. this has been happening to all my dvd's, ive tried two different drives and two brands of media.

any suggestions?

at the moment legacy DVD-R @ 8x, i noticed all the dvd's with problems have the rings on the dvd face, ive had this problem before with other types of media also.

ok after a little testing i noticed that if i do anything while the dvd is burning, the light shuts off and the progress doesnt move. i assume that it stops burning at this point and resumes when i stop, causing errors in the synchronicity of the dvd, but showing as a completed burn to the software?

Cheers, you solved the problem yourself. No multi-tasking while burning. Also, you might want to try some better media those Legacy disks are made by several mfr and have mixed reviews.

Check and make sure your burner firmware is up to date as this will help in the recognition of new media and burn speeds.
