I've seen Johnny a number of times but I've never seen Derringer. He has a live album with Johnny that is awesome. One more that I haven't gotten around to replacing. Should be around 73 methinks.

I FEEL THIS IS A GOOD PLACE TO POST THIS..
The End With No Beginning
you tell me
the beginning of your music
has no end
you tell me
your music is eternal
eternity
I tell you
the end of my music
has no beginning
I must tell you
my music ended
when yours began
my music ends
when yours begins
my music will end
end definitely and decidedly
and very tragically
when your music will begin
we are in love
we want to make love
we want to couple
and fuse into one ball of flesh
sizzling with passion
your heart is already singing
a sweet love song with no end
eternal bliss
while my song ends
before it begins

What is music to you?
Music is freedom that relentlessly exists
Freedom of speech
Freedom of thought
Freedom of creativity
Freedom of imagination
Music is ever soothingly healing
A bombardment of on-going expression of feelings
Music is a tool of unity
Always bringing people together as family
Hence be described as a mentor of spirituality
Music is magic
Performing its tricks
With sweet instrumental tones and lyrics
Music is emotionally captivating
Music is positively distracting
Music is a form of beautiful art
Passed on as a message on a public stage
Music is as powerful as water
Flowing in and out of generations
Trapped ever so often only by its own enormous power
Music is an angel
Singing out from the skies as she flies
Music is love
Music is the food of all moods
Music is perfect and it is good for you

@Ireland...quite good...where did you come across those?
@Neph... I always liked lou reed yet, for the life of me, I never understood why. THe guy couldn't carry a tune in a bucket! I suspect its because he wrote stuff for himself so it came across well. BTW, welcome back!

gerry looks like that live album is priced right at cd universe also, you might check e-bay too. yes i like Lou Reed but was never crazy about him. his early material with Velvet Underground was probably my fav. era of his music. great singer/songwriter though

Jean Michel Jarre? Wow that goes back! Years ago people use to tell me we looked alike. I could never see it .... perhaps just people who couldn't tell one french boy from another ... dark hair and square jaw.
I'm listening to (and truly surprising myself) Elton John. I've got a 1970 concert playing on the home theater. I'm rather impressed; I didn't know he did this sort of music ... I guess this was way before his Liberacce Impression days LOL!

@Creaky ... interesting, I guess there is no reason why I should but I didn't know you were of Indian decent (or is it desent...or is it dissent) fu***d up language, English is. I spoke only French as a kid and while I don't have a trace of an accent anymore (unless I drink, lol) I still can't spell in english to save my life. It simply makes no sense. In French, like latin, a word can be twenty letters long and you may have no idea what it means, but you can always spell it. English speaking friends, though, say that French is too grammar heavy; you can't just ignore it like you can in English ... I use to think that was strictly an American thing, bad grammar, until I started watching some english films.

half Indian and half English, however i'm just English thru and thru unfortunately, a bit old to 'get with' any of my Indian heritage i guess.
and in that vein i'm back to my usual 'English' listening - W.A.S.P - Thunderhead - awesome, from the Headless Children album

Now I'm listening to David Bowie doing back up vocals and harmonies for Lou Reed on the Transformer album. (That was the "Take a walk on the wild side" release album.
