how come whe ever I do the SC mod it always freezes after i click on checkpoints.

Beats me? I just softmodded another xbox in lesx than 10 mins and everything went smoothly.
What game are you using? Splinter Cell? If so, try the other option. Also, make sure you have the correct files. Let us know what files and versions you have.
Strike him down...and if he gets up, strike him again! Get outta here.

Yes. Softmods work on all versions.

Which installer are you using, it may have UnleashX & EvoX as an option of install? If not, once your xbox has been modded, you can FTP the folder for EvoX over to your xbox "dashboard" folder. Probably located in the C or E drive.

If by that statement you mean that the IP address on your xbox is the same IP on your computer...That is your problem. They need to be different. Your issue is conflicting IP's. Something should be telling you this in the bottom right of your screen. Either way, change your xbox's IP address to something other than what your PC is. As for the other settings, Gateway, DNS Servers, etc...they should be identical.

If i screw up and somthing happens to the modding menu how do i know i will get the old menu back because last time somthing happend and i could not get to any menu and all my xbox said was trying to connect to xbox live then it said it could not connect.

I was able to mod my xbox and it worked GREAT! However now I want to restore my xbox and I did use SoftMod Installer Deluxe. How do I use SoftMod Installer Deluxe with the DVD tray open to uninstall the mod and store my xbox?

Nope. Not at all. But, with a modded xbox, you can play back-ups (burned games).

About burning games, you need to transfer the game files to your computer, convert the files into an .ISO file, then burn it to a DVD disc.
Anyway, for some reason my xbox is no longer woking on my TV, it works on the two other TV's in my house, just not mine. I'm 99% sure it has something to do with the video settings, I'm just not sure what. All that happens on my TV is a black screen, as soon as I turn on the Xbox. It's really irritating me, and I need help.

how do you transfer it to your computer and then hoe do you convert it to IOS file????? Also, can i just do that with a normal xbox with no mod oranything?

Let me ask and say this to you...I did use the restore option and it did take me back to how my Xbox was in the beginning however when Softmodding it again I noticed that the Creating Ms Backup & Creating Mod Backup was still left on the xbox hdd. And really basically all I had to do was just install the Softmod and install Evox again. I did make a backup copy of my Ms folder onto my computer. What Im wanting to do is restore my xbox like from the very beginning before Softmod. How am I able to do that? My only choices are:
1.Create MS Backup
2.Create Mod Backup
3.Restore Ms Backup
4.Restore Mod Backup
5.Delete Ms Backup
6.Delect Mod Backup
7.Install Softmod
8.Install Evox
9.Install UnleashX
10.Patch Ms 5960
11.Settings
12.Saves Manger
13.File Manager
14.Reset FTP
15.Reset Network
16.Open Tray
17.Close Tray
18.Launch DVD
19.Restart Xbox
20.Turn Off Xbox
2)Also I have a new hdd coming within the next couple of days. As many times as Im able to FTP my xbox and restore it and makes changes, when I upgrade to the new hdd will I be able to do the same thing as many times?

Hi I am kind of a Noob to xbox soft-modding and all that.
My xbox is either version 1.3 or 1.4 (not sure) but I would like to install custom gamesaves on my box without changing my original xbox dashboard. i just wanna like upload it there and then play it.
I have Xbox Live.

First off, posting email addresses is against the rules. Just click the button on the top right hand of that post and delete it. ;)
To answer your question, all you have to do is buy action replay. You can then download game saves, put them on a memory card, which you then put on your xbox. No modding, chipping, etc needed.

That's because to access XBOX Live (with a modded xbox) you need to disable the mod.Otherwise, you're gonna have to use something like XBConnect or X Link Kai to play in free online communities...but with them come limitations (i.e. games tat can be played).

can some 1 please help me i want 2 soft mod me xbox can some 1 send me the files i need or get me a auto install program so all i do is put the disc in and awy we go either way i will need a bit of info either way im new 2 all of this hope some 1 can help me please thanx my email is removed if any 1 wants 2 send me the program
