Shrink can´t open files left by DVDD on my HD

I have perused the Forums and read several guides on how to use DVD Decrypter with DVD Shrink. I use Decrypter in File mode,(BTW "Edit" continues Grayed Out in my Decrypter).I have used Shrink with "Open Files" and with "Re-Authoring". Nothing works. I don´t know what I´m doing wrong.Help please! DVD2One has no problems recognizing the same files.I have also reinstalled both: Decrypter and Shrink. Nada.

Does any kind of error message come up when you try to load the files into DVD Shrink? If so, what is the error message word for word please?

Sorry for taking so long. I appreciate your desire to help me. I got 3 or 4 different error messages in dif circumstances. I opted for DVD2One which had no trouble. I have the feeling that i don´t know how ro set DVDD right, file mode, ifo mode, iso mode, etc. I remember one message having to do with one VOB file not being right, another with not being able to find the files. I have read several tutorials including all of yours. Don´t seem to catch my problem. One thing bothers me though: Edit remains grayed out in DVDD even when set to file mode. I´ll keep trying and next time I´ll write the error messages word by word. Thank you anyway.

After you have returned DVD Decrypter to its Default settings, then try to rip again in File mode, and select All Files under the Edit menu.
