I USED THIS PROGRAM ALOT THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN WHEN I CLICK ON THE ICON TO USE THE PROGRAM THE MONITOR GOES COMPLETELY BLACK AND THEN LOCKS UP THAT WAY...PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS...

Where did you download it from?

Uninstall it, delete the program files folder, delete registries associated with the program (use CCleaner), run antivirus, spyware, etc...delete and quarantine as needed, restart, download the program from a highly trusted source like Afterdawn: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_... re-install and try it again.

I know that sound like a lot but you're really just uninstalling, checking for bad stuff and reinstalling. :0).

I did what you said to do and the dvd shink is still making my monitor go black and is freezing the computer...what shall i do now...al

768 mb ram and windows xp pro nvidia geforce 128mb graphics card with a AMD PROCESSOR 1GHZ

try defragging your system.... Maybe a file or something that needs to be defragmented is holding it up....

Since your OS is XP, simply do a "System Restore" and restore your system back to a time when you know things were working properly.
