Hi i am new to this forum and new to burning dvds anyway i will get right to the point.I was trying to make a backup copy of the mummy returns i usualy use dvd shrink and never have a problem with it but when you try to decrypt it the only thing it shows you on the preview screen is the Copy protected logo can any one help i would really apriciate it

I just put my original of this movie in and Shrink ran through its analysis fine, I am not aware of any special protection on it. However it is Universal which could have protection in which case dl DVD Decrypter available from http://www.filepedia.com Look under rippers and use that to rip first to your hard drive and then open Shrink. You didn't install the Interactual Player as this can cause problems. Also you might want to do a re-author and do movie only, or remove unnecessary audio and subtitles there is an awful lot of compression for this movie.
