this has happened for the last 10 dvds or so, when shrink (nero buring) goes to burn it, it tells me to insert a new disk because this one doesnt have enough space to write on. any ideas?

What i always end up doing is re-shrinking it from my temp folder then it will compress fine. can anyone help?

What setting in Shrink do you have your target size set to? Check under "Edit" and "Preferences"

Are you using only Shrink and Nero for your backups?

@punx77, I had this same issue, and scubabud and arniebear both encouraged me to set the target (custom) to 4300. After that no problem...copies look great. I'm using Recode 2, but the same principle. Just follow bbmayo steps and you should be on your way.

it was set on DVD-5 but i went ahead and took it down to 4350, we'll see

4350 should do the trick but most just set it to 4300 and forget about it :-)
