whats a alternative program to dvd shrink that shrinks the files dvdsit on dvds?

Alternatives to Shrink might be.....


CloneDVD2
Nero Recode
Intervideo DVD Copy

Other less mentioned....

DVD Fab
One Click DVD Copy
DVD2One

None of these is free like Shrink.
Some may be a little faster, while others might not produce quality as high as Shrink's.

If you just want the encoding/compressing then you can stick with Shrink it is free. If you have Nero you can use the Recode program, or you can use CloneDVD which you can try for 21 days and then it will cost you 20.00.

They all pretty much do....

Recode is very similar in style and layout to Shrink and has similar results with quality.

CloneDVD is a bit faster but (in my opinion) at the sacrifice of quality

Intervideo is somewhat similar to CloneDVD in layout, faster than Shrink and most say with better quality, but I didn't have those results. Unfortunately it's also the most expensive of the bunch.


May I ask why you want to switch?
