i have a dvd file on my hard drive dshrink won't open gives me error message not enough space ...hard drive etc any help would be great i'm still new to this so still learning

How much free space to you have on your Hard Drive?
For Movies I recommend at least 15 Gb. Now if you use AnyDVD along w/ Shrink you can get by a less but If you are ripping the Movie to HD using DVDDecrypter the size of the movie disk will be approx 7- 8 Gb. Then Shrink will need at least 4.7 Gb as it will take those files and compress them to a folder that you will desiginate and then you can burn using DVDDecrypter or Nero automatically. So if you use the numbers above then you need at least 12.7 Gb. This is why I recommend 15 Gb.

Have you st the target size In Shrink to Custom -4300?

Try Defragging the HD if needed

if you have norton on your comp there is a good chance that you might have alot of norton protected files. if you are using norton then right on your recycle bin and hit empty norton protected files and that may clean up alot of space. that was a problem that i had i forgot about those files and had alot in there.
