I'm trying to back up my copy of Concert for George. Ive got the movie on to my hard drive with DVD Decrypter but I'm getting an error message from DVD Shrink "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process". Any suggestions?

Did you close Decrypter? Are there any other DVD software running in the background (like maybe Windows Media Player, PowerDVD or WinDVD)?

If you can't find anything, go into Task Manager (hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete and choose Task Manager) and see if any other applications are running.

Welcome to the forum. Try re-booting and then use Shrink

Tried rebooting...didn't work. Deleted the MDS file and re-copied it with DVD Decrypter. Still getting the same error message

I think I answered my own question in my last post! MDS file!!! I'd backed up the wrong files. We'll see - just doing another backup.

All sorted. My fault after all. Somehow a preference in Decrypter had been changed. It wrote the wrong file formats. Many thanks for the help anyway.
