DVD Shrink use to burn, now it doesn't. Why?

On my old computer I had DVD Shrink 3.1 and Nero installed, all I had to do was put the dvd in my burner, open disc, back up and when completed with back up it would eject the disc and ask me to put in a blank disc to burn and bam, done.

But I just recently got a new computer, downloaded Shrink 3.2 and got Nero full version but now it wont automatically do it the way I did before.

So any help?

by the way, my new computer has a burner along with my external one is there any program that will allow me to burn from disc to disc while at the same time encrypting the copy right protection and shrinking down any dvds that are to big? thanks

In Shrink go to Edit>Preferences>File I/O Tab. Make sure 'enable burning w/ nero' is checked under Burn Settings. Is your external able to read the DVD's? Also when you click 'backup' make sure you have the right traget device picked under 'select backup target'.
