Try ripping with free DVD Decrypter in file mode and then opening Shrink. Or you can try free DVD Fab Decrypter both are available at http://ww.filepedia.com Shrink alone cannot do Sony ARccOS. You can also try the free 21 day trial of AnyDVD and CloneDVD from http://www.slysoft.com AnyDVD works in the background and breaks the encryption and Clone will encode/compress/burn.

Yeap,there is a big encryption code on L.O.D. I was able to make a copy by useing DVDFab(FREE VERSION) and Shrink to make the disc.You can watch the preveiws and special interveiw but when you start the movie thats where its gets all messed up.You only get to watch the last 20 or more mins of the movie. If you go to select scene and go to 2nd scene even when you go to the rest of them it will start at that scene in the hospital watching tv on the fire.This must be a newer encryption by Sony.Well I hope someone figures this out because this could be the end of makeing copies if this new encryption is not cracked.Lets all pray to the "Cracked Gods" for their devine and humble intervention on this...By the way Arnie Bear the Video store where I rent my movies get the new releases 1-2 weeks before their release dates

@TDY & jwbbud
Try AnyDVD w/ Clone or your burning app of choice as suggested by arniebear. AnyDVD was last updated 8/1 and my guess is it should be able to handle this movie. Try it and post back for the rest of us who won't get the movie til the 27th.

@binkie

They are posting about this movie on CDFreaks, they cannot get it with AnyDVD either. Looks like something is up and we are going to get flooded on this one.

If either of you would do what the link that binkie posted suggested, you might save some people some grief and also get the thanks from members of AD :)

Oops almost forgot @binkie

Thanks, nice lady :)

arniebear or binkie7:I don't use Any DVD I use DVDFab (Free version), DVD Decrypter,DVD Shrink and Nero 6 Ultra for my copies.I understand what they want I can only give the .ifo files from the copied disc not from the original,basicaly it just did'nt copied the complete movie.But if thats ok and not from useing AnyDVD I be glad to send what ever I have from my copied disc.

@TDY

If you have not used AnyDVD you can download the 21 day trial version and use it, but you do not need it for this. What you can do is put the disk in your drive, and go into my computer, then choose the folder tab, click on the drive with your disk and then the Video_TS folder and it will show all the files just gather all the ifo's up in another folder and send them to support@slysoft.com just as instructed. AnyDVD needs the ifo's that is what they use to break the encryption, this is how they did it for the one movie before it hit the racks. Send them what you can, maybe they can work with them at least they will be able to know what needs to be done. I speak for myself in saying that it would help a whole lot of others who are going to have problems with this disk. :)

I agree if three people had the same problems the chances are there is something nasty on this movie, guess we will have to wait and see what shakes out next week on the release. Thanks, TDY for all you have done.
