I'm having the same problems with Decryptor and Shrink. Domvoc, where did you use AnyDVD? I don't want to get it if I don't need it. I got it from the local video store too. It's great having friends that work and hook you up with free movies especially when they don't come out for another week.

I'm doing a test using AnyDVD new ver (enable), decypter latest ver.(on file mode) and using dvd shink latest ver. and delinting the audio #3 AC3 2ch english like you said. and since I dont care for the coment I also deleted the language onder that...when buring it with the dvd shink (I will burn it direct since I have the Nero reloaded ver and it works together with the dvd srink to burn)..the only thing I'not doing is the .iso file. I hope it works for me. will post laters when ma pc gets done topost the results..
..
one qquestion to the last post..how did you make the iso file..what program did you use to make it after you decrypted...thanks in advance..just want to now in case my test fails..
good luck

Alright I'm in the middle of trying to burn the movie. Do you think a lot of new dvds will be like this because I really don't want to have to buy a program.

XstfuX,
Suggest you get AnyDVD and you might also get this freebie if you do not have it DVDFab Decrypter. They usually update as quickly as AnyDVD

process AnyDVD new ver enable / then DVD Decrypter file mode / then dvd shink (control + o) then deep analisys an make shure you select DVD-5 on the settings then delet the #3 ch-2 english also I deleted the lenguage under comentaries folder. then back it up and burned at the same time since I got Nero reloaded (it works with the dvd shink as the burning engine.

good luck ! thanks to AnyDVD / dvddecrypter fo the best program ever / and DVD Shrink..and excelent trio...

My copy is burning right now and so far so good using the AnyDVD method. I only have the 21 day trial so are there any other programs that do the same thing that are free? I'm pretty sure sony will continue to use this protection on their next Dvds so I need something for after the 20 days.

@XstfuX
There's DVD43 which is like AnyDVD but AnyDVD usually stays ahead of the copy protections. Yep Sony and probably the rest will step it up so I would definitley invest in AnyDVD - well worth the $ and aggravation!
Plus free lifetime updates - what more could you want!

There is the free program called...DVD43, it has been updated. I do not use it. I personally feel that AnyDVD is worth the price, especially if you order it with CloneDvd2...great combo, beyond DVD43 there is DVD Decrypter (no longer undated), Dvd Fab Decrypter (Updated and free).

With AnyDVD running in the background, there is no need to have the disk on HD. Typically I just open disk...shrink with analyze and then I either re-author for movie only or do a complete backup, make sure that the target size is 4300 or 4350. Then when completed shrink will either burn with decrypter or Nero...you would set that up according to what you have.

It worked that beta DVDIdle sent me worked.I made a complete copy of the disc, the only glitch was when you start the movie from the menu .There's a black screen that appears and seems like it's stuck .What I did was to go back to main menue and hit play again and the movie played.Maybe a little tweeking of the software is all whats needed. But I used Fab (Free Version) and Shrink.I'll try movie only see how that goes.PM me and I'll send you the link for the download they gave me.

I have got the disc as well with no luck on any of the recommended methods, one thing that might help is that if someone can find the original thread when Resident Evil was a problem , someone recomended a software that I am not seeing here nor do I recall the name. I know that it worked for me back then and the inner ring of this disc is identical to Res. Evil.......

Hey all,

Don't know if this would help anyone but I have made a PSL file for
the Lords Of Dogtown Unleased Extended Cut Edition R1. I have been able to rip with Decrypter and analyse and encode with Shrink properly. Haven't burned yet but will asap.

Update time.... Ripped with Super DVD Copy, no problems. Resized with DVD2One as movie only. Burned with Copy To DVD. When you put it into the player you have about 15 seconds of blackness then the movie starts and plays all the way through....
