Lightning_UK! made a great program.

@Silverbc3

How do you determine what to put into a PSL file? This knowledge needs to be shared.

You are welcome. You might want to try DVD FabDecrypter there is a new version out today at their site and it is supposed to be able to handle this movie.

When are they going to realize that it is a losing battle. First CSS, then Sony messing with the DVD structure. Next is Rip Guard. That will probably be cracked in a couple of days/weeks. I heard a rumor that the first movie Rip Guarded will be Star Wars. I cant wait to see if it is.

Hi...everyone!....My brother rented this movie today (Sunday Sept 25th) because the rental store where he rents his movies gets them 2 days earlier then the release date...well anyway he lend me the movie and had absolutely no problems copying (i used dvd region + css free running in the backround newest version 5.9.5.0)with clone dvd! By the way i burned them using memorex DVD+R dual layered media in which i purchased today in bestbuys a 15 pack for $29.99 (with instant savings) plus tax for a total of $32.50! Tht's like a little more than $2.00 dollars each! And they are ritek branded! (using nero's infotool)First layer burns at 4x and second layer 2.4x.So not a bad deal after all!

IT WORKS!!! LOD has been defeated. No black screens at beginning like some have reported. DVD Fab broke the encryption you should be able to use your normal compression and burning software after that. This is what I used:

DVD Fab Decrypter ver. 2.9.5.0 to decrypt
1ClickDVDCopy ver. 4.2.1.5 to compress with
DVD43 ver. 3.6.2 running in background
Copy to DVD3 SE ver. 3.0.5.6 to burn.

I tried the new "anyDVD 5.4.4.1" all I got was "cyclic error" message. It would not decrypt LOD for me.

Here is the link for DVD Fab. Just click on Express and download. It should ask if you would like to update when you open the program.

Arnie, first off this is nothing against you! It was used for example purposes only.

To admin or whoever banned me (the 1st and 2nd time):

Why is it ok if "arniebear - AfterDawn Addict" links to the dd forum but, if I do it I get banned? Is it because I am from the dd forum and arniebear is from here? As UncasMS said, this is getting ridiculous and it just proves my point that I did not violate any rules and was banned for a "personality conflict" with a "so called" moderator.

Your joking jmet right ?

Every forum I frequent has links to others where that link has useful information - you're surely not expected to copy paste it all here every time you want to help someone out ?

Yes, that is what they told me to do.

They wanted me to copy and paste the entire thread (sometimes a guide) instead of just giving the link.

Is that absurd or what?

Edit: I actually did it once. After that, I said screw that! It was more trouble than it was worth. Cause I had to modify all the vbcodes and html to make it compatible with ad's forum. Here was that post: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/236783

I was able to rip LOD with DVDFab Decrypter successfully.
I tried the latest version of AnyDVD and it apparently removed all the encryptions, but when I opened up DVD Shrink while running AnyDVD, it gave me a navigational structure error.
