i have 2 computers both with the same version of dvd shrink. on one i have no problem backing up my dvd's with shrink by just simply clicking open disk. however on the other, once i click "open disk" and and then click "ok" for the selected drive i recieve this error: Failed to read file F:/
Copy Protection Error the read failed because the following sector is encrypted.
This error pops up on every dvd that i own on this computer, however on the other computer is works perfectly fine on any dvd. i realize that i can use dvd decrypter first and then use shrink through the open file mode, but am confused on this error, Please help. Thanks

I've seen this error when the Enable burning with Nero option was checked.

ok, i took your advise and downloaded the AnyDVD software, and it fixed the error about the sector being encrypted. i use Nero with the shrink program and it usually starts burning automatically, but now after i click open disk, and after it encodes it doesnt start burning by itself, is there a solution to make it automatically burn by itself.

Make sure Nero is enabled in you Shrink preferences. Just go into the Edit tab, preferences, I/O file, and check enable burning with Nero.
