Need to compress .vob files created by DVD Shrink

Ok,
DVD Shrink created the .vob files, I authored them down to less than 2 GB.

I now have 4 sets of .vob files totallying 7.46GB. How can I get the 7.46 GB down to 4.7GB?

Can DVD Shrink do it, I'd like a freeware program.

This movie that I am trying to get down to 4.7GB is NOT a 2 disc movie...I originally used Winavi to convert it from .avi (1.46GB) to the .vob files that I re authored with DVD Shrink.

Here try this guide on compiling an episode video using Shrink, after you compiled then just run it through Shrink to get it down to size.

Yah the link you showed, you can remove this and that from the original files...thansk for that.

I think I've gotten it by George...when I convert AVI to .VOB with winavi, I went into settings and noticed I had it set for dvd quality...I changed this instead to limit the size to less than 47000 MB.

Hopefully the video quality doesn't suffer all that bad.
