If you already have creaded an ISO of a DVD with DVD Decrypter can you use DVD shrink on the ISO file or do you have to start over. The exact dilemma is this. I read a dvd out to iso with DVD Decryptor with plans to put it on DL disc. However the more I read the forums the more I see if it's note episodic or a "flipper" there is no point paying for DL when with decent quality you can get it on a DVD 5 disc. So I am just wondering if the ISO can be manipulated once it's created or if I should start over with DVD Shrink and pull out the extras and shrink it down and recreate a new smaller ISO?

Thanks,

Higgie

some people use dvd decrypter first because it has a more powerful "protection remover" so to speak,then they load it into shrink,shrink it,then burn it

i personally use none of those,and chose to use clonedvd2/anydvd combo
the quality is second to none,
only dvd rebuilder(cce engine)beats it for quality
but with clonedvd2/anydvd combo,the speed is fantastic,along with the ease of use and quality,you just cannot go wrong :)

give them a whirl and you'll C!! :)

Thanks I will check out how much they cost. Right now free works but I don't mind making an investment if the software is as good as you say =)

Thanks,

Higgie

@ev1envy

Download the free program DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter if you do not have it, you will need a program to burn so you can either use Decrypter or Nero. Then proceed to read the guides that jmet has in his sig, or this one.

DVD Shrink is available from http://www.filepedia.com under ripper, also DVD Decrypter under rippers.

They will explain the whole process.
