I have the nero program on my computer my question is how do you burn more copies after the dvd shrink has burned one already it says that the files are stored in a folder but when I go to nero and try to bring this back up it is always its to big,Do I have to run it thru the shrink again? because this takes forever, what other programs do I need or how do I go about doing it,

you don't give too much information about what you did and how you did it? I use DVDDecrypter then use Shrink ..... it might even go faster and have you set Shrink to DVD5 (single sided, 4.7G)? Is this your first time burning? if so don't dispair..... welcome to AD ......... here is a really great page for you to learn more and there are guides to help you along: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/183136 most noteable: check out BBmayo's and Scubba Pete's guides!!! there are also plenty of questions answered in that link that you might have! good luck and keep on burning!

I basically want to burn more copies of the sane dvd what program do I need,I have Nero but when I try it always is to big,now my question is that after DVD Shrink has completed shrinking a movie does the file stay shrunk or does it go back to normal size,I would please appreciate any steps to achieving this, hopefully this is faster than having to redo the whole process to to decrypt then shrink to get 1 copy

hi
it depends how you output the file from shrink, i output as iso then its saved to a folder and you can burn hundreds off that iso as the work has been done already to it, and the iso can sit there till you need another disc from it!

Nothing here to see, move along folks.

What Rotary said is perfect if you're planning ahead of time to have multiple copies of a movie burned, after Shrink has finalized the .iso you can simply open Nero or whatever and start whipping them off.
Now, if you already burned a movie, and decide you want another copy, DVDshrink doesn't actually alter the original source file, it makes a new file which is the appropriate size to burn. On mine, I use the default new file name "TEMP VIDEO", so if I were to backup a 7.9 Gig movie file from my hard drive, the original 7.9 would remain that size, and the new file created, "TEMP VIDEO", would be roughly 4.7 gigs. If you suddenly decide that you want another copy of the movie, rather than compressing and encoding the original file all over again, you can simply burn off that temp video file, it'll take almost no tile. (Incidentally, make sure if you do want to do this, you decide it fairly soon, since if you, like me, use that name as a default, then it'll be overwritten every time you do a fresh shrink. When I have movies I think I'll want to burn again, I simply rename the temp video to something else, or reset the target file within DVDshrink.

Ok i also have the updated version of the shrink 3.2 but maybe its me but I can only burn 1 copy after the shrink, every time I try to burn more copies with the file that the shrink created its to big for Nero or it always saya not responding, what I really need is a step by step on how to do this even afteri created a dvd with the shrink I could not copy it with Nero to make more cpies,I probably really don't understand what to do or what programs to use this is really frustrating for me,I hate having to re-do the whole process for more copies, maybe I don't have the right program please help

hi
forget Nero!
if you want to burn more than 1 dvdr from an image from DVD Shrink, make DVD Shrink output as iso file!
dvd decrypter can burn iso files!!!
easy peazy........
